Microsoft Apps Deployment via Intune
Overview
This guide explains how to deploy Microsoft apps such as **Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive** using Microsoft Intune.
Prerequisites
- Intune Administrator or Global Administrator role.
- Devices must be enrolled in Intune.
- Users must have valid Microsoft 365 licenses.
Steps
1. Sign in
- Open Microsoft Intune Admin Center.
- Use your administrator account credentials.
2. Add New App
- Navigate to: Apps > All apps > Add.
3. Select App Type
- Choose: Microsoft 365 Apps (Windows 10 and later).
4. Configure App Information
- Name: Microsoft 365 Apps (Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Publisher: Microsoft
- Description: Deploy Teams, Outlook, and other Office 365 apps.
- Optionally, upload a logo.
5. Configure App Suite Settings
- Select which apps to include:
- Microsoft Teams
- Outlook
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive (optional)
- Remove apps not required.
- Set Installation Language (Match OS or select manually).
6. Configure App Suite Mode
- Choose:

7. Configure Assignments
- Add Azure AD groups:
- All Users
- Specific department groups
- Installation options:

- Uninstall → Removes apps
8. Review and Create
- Review the configuration summary.
- Click Create to confirm.
9. Monitor Deployment
- Navigate: Apps > Monitor > Device install status.
