Adding local users in GLPI
To add local users in GLPI use following steps:
- Login as glpi user
- Go to Administration -> Users page
- Choose 'Add' option (Small + icon from toolbar)
- Click on "Email followup configuration" and add details:
- Enable followup via email - Yes
- Add appropriate email addresses and names. Add email address where email can be received. Do not worry about GLPI, it should be able to send email from any email address specified.
- Add signature to indicate email is coming from GLPI admin
- Enable add documents into ticket notifications
- Leave way of sending email to PHP provided sendmail or postfix is configured on current machine to send emails.
