To add host to a cloudstack cluster use following steps:
- Ensure that cloudstack agent and host are setup properly. Refer CentOS 7.x Cloudstack 4.11 KVM Host setup
- Go to Infrastructure -> Hosts and click on 'Add host'
- On Add host popup use values such as:
- Zone
- zone1
- Pod
- pod1
- Cluster
- cluster1
- Host name
- <kvm-host-ip-address>
- Username
- root
- Password
- <redacted>
- and leave other things blank / unselected / default.
Note that adding host will take time. Do not navigate to other pages till host is added successfully.
