CentOS 7.x Connect to Chromecast from Chrome in Linux

To connect to chromecast from Chrome in Linux use:

  1. Install and run chrome
  2. Stop firewall (systemctl stop firewalld)
  3. Go to "Cast" option in file menu and choose option for casting Desktop/tab appropriately

Note that mouse would appear responsive while looking at local Laptop/Desktop screen, while it would seem to wobble around if you look at chromecast output over wifi on a very large screen.
