CentOS 8.x Change system timezone

To change system timezone we can use timedatectl (similar to hostnamectl) command:

  1. To change timezone to Asia/Kolkata use:
    timedatectl set-timezone 'Asia/Kolkata'
  2. To see time in UTC and current timezone use:
    timedatectl
