vHMC can be deployed on top of VMWare (ESXi) or KVM hypervisors. To deploy it on vSphere use following steps:

  2. Give appropriate VM name as per requirement and choose downloaded ova file from local disk to deploy vHMC
  3. Choose appropriate Datastore, Network, Thin/Thick disk, etc. to deploy the VM
  4. After ova is deployed, power it on (If it is not automatically powered on after deployment)
  5. Access the VHMC console and select "Exit and run this program again on the next console start" on "Display configuration selection" dialog box. Select Next.
  6. In the following screen accept license agreement and proceed further.
