FCoE configuration on CNA

Often modern servers especially blades come with Converged Network Adapters (CNA) which are capable of carrying both storage (FCoE) and network traffic. To enable FCoE or converged mode on this adpaters in BIOS we need to use following settings:

For Emulex CNA

Advanced Mode
Enable
Personality
FCoE
Multichannel Mode
IBM Unified Fabric Protocol Mode


For QLogic CNA

Virtualization Mode
NPAR (vNIC)
