If VxRail build fails Build VxRail 4.7 then you may need to factory reset nodes to try another build attempt using:

  1. Restart node
  2. Press 'F11' to go to Boot Manager
  3. Boot from SD-CARD
  4. Start RASR application
  5. Use 'F' for factory reset
    1. First factory reset used to fail on VxRail E650 with VxRail 4.7. After first reset failing do cold restart and do another reset which succeeds.
  6. After factory reset restart node. It would reboot many times and whole reset process may take up to hour on smaller nodes. During reset process there should not be any DHCP. On DHCP error message on first reboot press Enter.
