==Exporting to HTML==
==Exporting to HTML==

Sometimes it is desirable to export a spread-sheet to HTML format so that it can be viewed in browser or hosted on a website. But 'Export to HTML' option of openoffice does not results into very neat output. Also sometimes few columns from the end do not get exported at all, even when they are selected. A better way to get HTML from spread-sheet using openOffice or Libreoffice is to choose "Save as..." option and then save the spread-sheet at HTML file. When spread-sheets are converted in this manner, the output is very nice and all columns are properly exported.

Exporting to HTML

Sometimes it is desirable to export a spread-sheet to HTML format so that it can be viewed in browser or hosted on a website. But 'Export to HTML' option of openoffice does not results into very neat output. Also sometimes few columns from the end do not get exported at all, even when they are selected. A better way to get HTML from spread-sheet using openOffice or Libreoffice is to choose "Save as..." option and then save the spread-sheet at HTML file. When spread-sheets are converted in this manner, the output is very nice and all columns are properly exported.
