Using browser based anonymous proxies

We can use browser based anonymous proxy websites such as:

  • anonymouse.org
  • kproxy.com

to access websites via web URL based proxies. This helps with:

  • Checking the certain sites are opening properly from outside. There are often local route in router for our own public IP range and hence even when accessing websites with public IP it might get routed locally and open without reaching perimeter firewall.
  • If organization has blocked some website then this can be a quick but easily detectable way of bypassing such restrictions.
