VM/CT Restore from Proxmox Backup Server

Restore to a new VM/CT
- Login to Proxmox Server
- In Server View, under the node (Example: pve)
- Select the Proxmox backup server storage
- Select the backup file of the VM/CT that needs to be restored
- Click Restore
- Select the storage
- VM id is given automatically
- check the box Unique
- click Restore
- Wait for the restore job to finish
- Start the VM manually
Restore to the Same VM/CT
- Login to Proxmox Server
- Select the VM/CT which needs to be restored
- Click on Backup > Select the Proxmox Backup Storage from the Storage option (Top right corner)
- Select the backup file and click Restore
- Select the storage
- VM/CT ID cannot be changed
- Click Restore
- Wait for the restore job to finish
- Start the VM manually
