Sometimes on drive.google.com download of folders along with sub-folders and files fails with failure of zip file creation. In such cases we can use following steps to solve the problem:

1. Open chrome settings using menu option or by typing chrome://settings in URL bar
2. Search for cookies and click on "Cookies and other site data" OR specifically go to cookie settings at chrome://settings/cookies
3. Click "Add" against "Sites that can always use cookies" and type drive.google.com. Enable checkbox for "Including third party cookies on this site"
4. Try to download zip from drive.google.com again, and it should work now.
