Download software bundles using Internet access from SDDC Manager

Download software bundles (such as vRealize LifeCycle Manager and others) using Internet access from SDDC Manager using:

1. Login into SDDC manager
2. Go to Administration -> Repository settings
3. Enter "My VMWare" login details and connect
4. Wait for 5-10 minutes for service to connect to Internet and download details
5. Go to Lifecycle Management Bundle management
6. You should be able to see various bundles and download options

Tips:

• Go to Administration -> vRealize Suite. It will display version of vRealize Lifecycle manager compatible with current SDDC manager. You should try to download same version using bundle management. Download older versions will not work.
• You can ssh to SSDC manager and use command:

  systemctl restart lcm

  to restart bundle management (lifecycle-management) service

• Keep copy of /nfs/vmware/vcf/nfs-mount/bundle at some location. This way we can copy it to any new vCF SDDC manager when redeployed in a lab environment. Refer Download offline bundles and reuse them with SDDC Manager for repeat experiments or air-gapped networks
