Rocky 9.x Increase DNS cache and TCP timeout for thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird Edit -> Settings
  2. Search for "Config Editor"
  3. Search for network.dnsCacheExpiration Update this value to 3600 to cache DNS entries for one hour
  4. Search for mailnews.tcptimeout Update this value to 300 to increase TCP network timeout
  5. Close thunderbird and reopen
